Bird flu ...

So I don't have the swine flu. Even though I was in Mexico three weeks ago and I spiked a fever of 101.3 this week, I seemed to have avoided the curse.

But one of the prescriptions I was put on at the student health center is called Avian in its generic form. So now every time I go to take this particular pill I think of bird puke. Which, to me, kind of defeats the purpose of giving a pill to someone so they're NOT nauseated. ..... Hmmm....

Thoughts?

I still think you're pregnant. I'll have to send you this clip from Gilmore Girls about Lane talking to Rory after she gets back from her Mexican honeymoon. Eerie how similar the conversation sounds to yours.

You're totally not pregnant.

Stop listening to crazy people.

Also.

Weird drug name.

Stop taking it.

Conspiracies abound.

I love that when you're a newly-wed any symptom is equated with pregnancy.

"I have a headache."
"You must be pregnant!!!"

"My nose really itches lately. Think I'm allergic to something?"
"No ... You're totally pregnant!"

Cough, fever, mosquito bite ... all signs of pregnancy.
